My name is Lara Sian and I run Green Tree Adventures and follow the Forest School ethos.
Our aim is to engage children and adults in learning about woodland habitats, making crafts from the natural woodland environment, and having amazing, muddy, risky adventures.
Any outdoor learning includes elements of risk. The benefits of appropriate risk are vital to children’s development. Forest School develops learners understanding of risk, involves the learners in the risk management process and supports learners to take acceptable risks.
We also follow the ethos of child led learning and play.
We are members of the Forest School Association, Forest School First Aid trained and fully insured.
Green Tree Adventures is set in the heart of the Whitbourne Estate surrounded by fields, with cattle, sheep and pigs in some of the woodland. The Whitbourne Estate is a privately owned estate run by the Evans family. On the estate they have the Green Cow Kitchen where you can experience fine dining.
