HOME EDUCATION
We learn with the seasons, covering many topic areas - history, art, science, geography and life skills. We build confidence in a natural environment and take our lead from the children we are working with
We have two offerings exclusively for home educators.
On Monday morning from 10am - 2pm we have a session for primary school aged children (4-11 years). We explore the farm, learn about animal care, play in the orchard, and experience lots of learning in the great outdoors.
On Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 - 2;30pm we offer older children (12-16 years) a more hands on experience with the livestock on our organic farm. They also get to learn through different adventures in our forest school area, making and crafting and learning about the nature around us. We go on walks to find out more about the flora and fauna on our farm. We cook on our fire regularly as well.
